Intimate Conversations
With a palpable authenticity, towering four-octave range, and a powerful blues & gospel-tinged jazz vocal approach, Dee Daniels has built a sterling reputation amongst writers, DJs and jazz fans over the last three decades. Already well represented over her career on recordings with symphony orchestras, big bands, and smaller groups, for her new recording, Dee goes exceedingly intimate. Pairing in duos and trios with eight giants of jazz music – including Russell Malone, Houston Person, Ken Peplowski, and Cyrus Chestnut – she performs a set of ten songs featuring beloved jazz and pop classics like “All the Way”, “I Who Have Nothing”, to pop hits such as “A Song For You”, and Brenda Russell’s, “Get Here”.

State of the Art
Dee Daniels celebrates the release of her new and long-awaited cd, State of the Art, on Holland’s globally renowned Criss Cross Jazz Records label. The release makes Dee the first vocalist/leader in the 30+ history of the label. The band personnel is Cyrus Chestnut, piano; Eric Alexander, tenor; Alvester Garnett, drums; and Paul Beaudry, bass. The cd has 12 uniquely arranged jazz standards, some of which have been less recorded over the years. The maturity of Dee’s voice brings out the depth of story in each song as though she were involved in a very private conversation with the listener. Join in those conversations by purchasing your copy of this well crafted cd, State of the Art.

Feels So Good
There were many possible titles in the works for this CD project, but once in the studio with these wonderful friends and great musicians, "Feels SO Good!" was a spontaneous entry, and unanimous winner! This selection of standards and originals is as close as one can get to a live Dee performance - heartfelt ballads to raucous, gospel-flavored blues.

Love Story
A collection of ten jazz standards that take a look at one love story from beginning to end. Each song is an integral chapter rendered only as Dee can.

Wish Me Love
Great evergreens with power-packed arrangements for the Metropole Orchestra of Holland provide a vast musical stage for Dee's four-octave range. Here some of your old favorite songs performed with a fresh approach. Hear some of your favorite standards, as well as a couple of original compositions.

Let's Talk Business
The blues comes in many hues, they say... and this collection by Dee Daniels certainly proves the point. These are not just the requisite laments over life's trials and sorrow... there's joy, difiance, and ultimately a declaration of independence shared with us by the artist.
