Her styling is heavily infused with gospel and blues–a vocal style born in her stepfather’s Oakland, California church choir, refined in the R&B era and polished during a five-year European residency. The Vancouver-based Daniels is a fixture of the jazz festival scene and tours regularly in North America. Daniels performed in The BlueShore at Cap’s first-ever season, so it’s a fitting tribute to have her perform with NiteCap and her tight-knit trio in our 20th year.
